Vincent Welch began his career in New York City working as an Assistant Editor on numerous award winning independent films. These credits include Compliance (Craig Zobel), Ain’t Them Bodies Saints (David Lowery), He's All That (Mark Waters), Joe (David Gordon Green) and Some Velvet Morning (Neil LaBute). Throughout his time as an Assistant, Vincent has had the opportunity to work with many respected filmmakers such as Steven Soderbergh, Adam McKay, David Wain, Robert Siegel, Leslye Headland and Paul Bettany.
As Editor, Vincent has cut 12 Features and 25 award winning Short films that have screened worldwide. His editing work has been screened at the Cannes Short Corner (In The Dark), Sundance Short Film Program (Flutter), Tribeca Film Festival (Entangled), Raindance Film Festival (We The Kings), and the New York Independent Film Festival (Buck).
Most recently, Vincent edited Neil LaBute’s latest feature Fear The Night, a home invasion thriller that was released theatrically nationwide. At the same time, Vincent worked for over a year at Miramax on multiple features. Sick is available on Peacock, Strange Darling will release theatrically in the summer of '24, and The Home will release theatrically in the winter of '24. His most notable Television experience includes cutting 2 episodes for the Peabody Award winning series Dickinson on Apple TV+. Vincent was also the Narrative Editor for the limited series American Playboy: The Story of Hugh Hefner on Amazon, as well as the series Roman Empire on Netflix. His other series work includes Billions on Showtime, Kidding on Showtime, and Red Oaks on Amazon.
Known for his technical knowledge of the Editorial process; Vincent is a proven work-from-home specialist and can accommodate all remote editorial needs. He currently lives in Los Angeles with his wife and son, as well as his edit room mascot Sadie.
